James is an international lighting designer who has been working in the entertainment industry for the past 20 years.

James is proud to say he is a disabled designer who specialises in lighting MusicalTheatre, Plays, Pantomime and large scale outdoor Light Art events. James is a highly established and sort after associate and re-lighter for other theatrical Lighting Designers.

 

For the past 20 years he has been an associate to both lighting designers Howard Harrison and Mark Jonathan where they have collaborated on many diverse and unique projects around the globe. When not lighting James lectures in CAD, Lighting Management and design to university degree level and uses these techniques to work alongside production companies and designers throughout the UK.

 

James’ most recent work can be seen on TV where he as lit the CBeebies Christmas show ‘Twas the night before Christmas’ and his yearly residency on the UK’s biggest Christmas show, Thursford’s Christmas Spectacular.
